Shannon Elizabeth Dumps Derek Hough!

Shannon Elizabeth announced through her Twitter account that she and her former "Dancing With the Stars" partner Derek Hough have "ended their relationship as boyfriend & girlfriend," and that they "love & care about each other very much & will remain friends." She certainly was all smiles on Wednesday night when I saw her at Katsuya in Hollywood. She gave no hints that this bombshell was coming, but I did notice that she was with a "friend" and not her beau. First Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush and now this. Is any Hollywood relationship safe? At least Paris and Doug got back together!

Maxim Hot 100 Event Gallery #3: Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough

Is there anything more romantic than love sprung from reality tv? Of course not! Former Dancing With the Stars partners Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough are still an item. Who looked happiest last night of all the reality couples, Shannon and Derek or Heidi and Spencer? Find out soon... Many more galleries to come...

I must say, Shannon looks fantastic! I think she looks much better today than she did 10 years ago. My only problem is that this party was held at The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport. Many events are held at The Barker Hangar, so it must be nice inside... But outside looks like any other back lot of an airport, not such a great backdrop for glamorous red carpet arrivals.

About Item9

HOLLYWOOD, 2009: Dangerous and deadly car chases. Drug-fueled starlets refusing to wear underpants. D-listers begging to be photographed. Beefy bouncers with headsets and no brains. Lap dances in the gutter. Has-beens stealing your kush.

Everyone had a story, and most of them were working on a script based on that story. The landscape had changed, and what had once been a glamorous and dreamy boulevard was now a dark and seedy underground of hanger-ons and fame junkies.

That's where I came in. I could say I did it for the money, but that would make me a liar just like the rest of them. The truth is I was drawn to it. Like an accident on the side of the road. I didn't want to look, but my camera guided me, daring me not to ignore my destiny.
