Blogger Calls Joe Jackson "Shameless" ...Then Notices Sky Is Blue

As reported on CNN, Jornalist / Blogger Jimi Izrael is catching a lot of flack for his suggestion that Michael Jackson's dad was "shameless" for plugging his new blue-ray label at the BETs. Mr. Izrael has a lot of nerve throwing stones at Mr. Jackson for looking everything but sad at his son's televised tribute. After all, it's obvious that Mr. Jackson was waaaay too stoned to express sadness! He couldn't even remember the name of his own label he was plugging! Plus shouldn't we be thanking Mr. Jackson for being a shameless pimp! If he did not always have dollar signs in his eyes, the world may never have had Michael's talent to enjoy, because Mr. Jackson would not have beaten it into him! Too harsh?... Maybe, but I think the fact that Michael left Dad out of his will kinda says it all. Michael is still wondering... have you seen his childhood? Ask yourself, would you trade your collection of MJ records to give Michael his childhood back, if it meant no Off The Wall or Thriller?

BET Awards Photos #2: Diddy, Kanye, Taraji, Joe Jackson, Chaka Khan, Tyra, Soulja Boy, 3-6 Mafia, Omarosa, Ginuwine, MC Lyte, Tempestt & More!

There was so much bling at the BET Awards that they posted security guards every 15 feet along the red carpet, much to the chagrin of the photographers. Photos with people in the background are harder to sell than cleaner shots, so the dozens of photogs kept screaming at the security guards to take two steps to the right or left, which would just put them into someone elses shot, who would then scream at them to move back. I'm surprised none of us were shot. In this gallery: Kanye West & Amber Rose, Tempestt Bledsoe, Taraji Henson, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Joe Jackson, Chaka Khan, Soulja Boy, Marlon Wayans, Kim Coles, Tyra Banks, Omarosa, Ginuwine, Arsenio Hall (& son), Anthony Anderson (& daughter), Three 6 Mafia & MC Lyte,!!

About Item9

HOLLYWOOD, 2009: Dangerous and deadly car chases. Drug-fueled starlets refusing to wear underpants. D-listers begging to be photographed. Beefy bouncers with headsets and no brains. Lap dances in the gutter. Has-beens stealing your kush.

Everyone had a story, and most of them were working on a script based on that story. The landscape had changed, and what had once been a glamorous and dreamy boulevard was now a dark and seedy underground of hanger-ons and fame junkies.

That's where I came in. I could say I did it for the money, but that would make me a liar just like the rest of them. The truth is I was drawn to it. Like an accident on the side of the road. I didn't want to look, but my camera guided me, daring me not to ignore my destiny.
