There was so much bling at the BET Awards that they posted security guards every 15 feet along the red carpet, much to the chagrin of the photographers. Photos with people in the background are harder to sell than cleaner shots, so the dozens of photogs kept screaming at the security guards to take two steps to the right or left, which would just put them into someone elses shot, who would then scream at them to move back. I'm surprised none of us were shot.
