The Dead Weather, JJ Abrams, & The Dude @ The IT MIGHT GET LOUD After Party!

More shots from the IT MIGHT GET LOUD screening and after party last night in West LA. Jimmy Page, Jack White and his newest band, The Dead Weather, featuring Alison Mosshart (of The Kills), Dean Ferita (of Queens Of The Stoneage), Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs). Also Davis Guggenheim, the director and did I mention his lovely wife, Elizabeth Shue? J.J. Abrams was there too with his beautiful wife, Katie McGrath. The unexpected surprise of the evening was a quick appearance of The Dude himself... No, not Jeff Bridges, but the REAL "The Dude" who the character "The Dude" (Big Lebowski) was based on! The one and only Jeff Dowd!

With Jimmy Page & Jack White You Know It Might Get LOUD!

This was the most fun I've had at work in a long time! Jimmy Page and Jack White were at a screening of the new Rockumentary, It Might Get Loud at the Mann Festival Theatre last night (Friday). While it would of course be preferable for all parties involved to photograph Rock icons performing music instead of walking a carpet, it is fun to get a closer look regardless. Can't wait to see this movie! Director Davis Guggenheim was there with his gorgeous wife Elizabeth Shue, who briefly stood with us and took photographs of the event herself! Elizabeth looked stunning of course, but wouldn't break away from her husband to give us some singles, I suppose she didn't want to take the spotlight away from him... just for one night! And here is a first peek at Jack White's new band, or shall I say SUPERGROUP, The Dead Weather, featuring Alison Mosshart (of The Kills), Dean Ferita (of Queens Of The Stoneage), Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs)...and, well Jack of course! Those following on Twitter saw my live photos from the carpet. More photos and video to come of the after party arrivals... Same people, only after the movie, but before the after party, you following?

About Item9

HOLLYWOOD, 2009: Dangerous and deadly car chases. Drug-fueled starlets refusing to wear underpants. D-listers begging to be photographed. Beefy bouncers with headsets and no brains. Lap dances in the gutter. Has-beens stealing your kush.

Everyone had a story, and most of them were working on a script based on that story. The landscape had changed, and what had once been a glamorous and dreamy boulevard was now a dark and seedy underground of hanger-ons and fame junkies.

That's where I came in. I could say I did it for the money, but that would make me a liar just like the rest of them. The truth is I was drawn to it. Like an accident on the side of the road. I didn't want to look, but my camera guided me, daring me not to ignore my destiny.
